  1. PEAR SHAPED BODY TYPE Pear shape is characterized by shoulders and bust that are smaller than the hips and a defined, often high, waist. Usually this shape has proportionally slim shoulders and arms, and a long neck. 

Pears shaped people are recommended wear at least one size bigger on the bottom than they do on top.

  1. OUR GLASS SHAPED BODY TYPE

Hourglass body shapes have a wide bust, a narrow waist, and wide hips (the bust and hip have a similar measurement). It gets its name due to its resemblance with an hourglass, in which the upper and lower parts are wider with a narrower part in the middle.

 To  maintain a balanced silhouette avoid wide necklines. They will widen the shoulders making you look broader on the top than the bottom.

Necklaces are a good way to enhance the bustline and are a good way to add some detailing when you are wearing a simple top (like over a slim fit turtleneck).

The rectangular body shape is characterized where a straight silhouette with not many curves, shoulders and hips of similar width, little to no waist definition and very long legs. The shoulders, chest and hip are fairly uniform. There are not much curves.

  The Rectangle shape is the easiest to dress, and the hardest to give advice to. This shaped body type is easy to dress because most clothing today is designed with this shape to keep in mind. The Rectangle shaped body is well-balanced, and there aren’t obvious fit challenges.\

Rectangles tend to be tall and lean. They are not particularly curvy, the waist is not well-defined, and the bottom is rather flat.     

  1. TRIANGLE SHAPED BODY

The triangle body shape is characterized by broad hips, a defined waist, and narrow shoulders.

There are many different ways to achieve that, since your torso is the part of your body where you can try all thighs bold and eccentric. So don’t shy away from right colors, peculiar details and bold patterns if you want to add a spark to your outfit. Horizontal stripes will also work perfectly to lengthen the upper body, giving definition to the torso.

A deep V-neck, for instance, flatters the décolletage and minimises the bust. A defined waist and wider leg, on the other hand, will balance your silhouette, and details around the waist, such as a belt, will draw it in visually.

  1. APPLE SHAPED BODY TYPE

The apple body shape can appear top-heavy due to a full chest and upper body with little to no waist definition.This makes the body appear like an apple shape.

typical characteristics of the apple body shape are a large bust, narrow hips and a full midsection.

 This body type is to create more balance between your upper and lower half. You do this by adding emphasis to your lower half, down-playing your strong shoulder line, and making sure your bust and waist are defined.
